We extend our sincere appreciation to the African Union for organizing this transformative initiative, and to our esteemed partners GIZ, Plan International, Restless Development, and UN Women—for their invaluable support.

This workshop marks a significant step in aligning with CYTD’s mission to develop and empower change-makers across Tanzania and the African continent. The introduction of the AU Citizen Engagement Platform (CEP) offers youth organizations powerful digital tools for meaningful participation in policymaking—on issues such as data governance, gender equality, and economic inclusion.

CYTD is committed to collaborating with the African Union in shaping inclusive, youth-led policy and driving forward the vision of Agenda 2063. The 1 Million Next Level Initiative is fully embedded within our goals, as we work to elevate youth voices and action across Africa.
